June 8, 2013~Orlando Temple Day :)

Today was our church's Youth Temple trip to the Orlando LDS Temple to do baptisms.   Our youth and youth leaders, along with some members of our church rode a bus up there.  I left a little earlier because I REALLLLYYY wanted to do some Temple work before the kids scheduled time for baptisms.   So I drove separate.  I love my alone time in the car for the drive to Orlando.  Gives me a lot of thinking and praying time.  Some of my best conversations with God are 1) While I'm doing my hair.  & 2) While I'm driving long distances.  I think He knows it's the only time I'm quiet!  :)

The temple is such a special place to me.  I love going to the temple and loved even more having 3 of the 4 of our family there today!  I really missed Jordan, but the Lord, AGAIN, in his tender mercies, gave me a wonderful gift!  The 5 names that were given to me to work on were ALL from....get this...BRAZIL!!! AMAZING!! I've NEVER had Brazil names when I've gone. (And I've been A LOT this past year)  I've had names from Italy, France, England, lots of US, Mexico, Argentina, Norway...but NEVER BRAZIL!!! It touched my heart the moment I saw that all 5 were from Brazil!  In a way it made my heart complete, feeling like all 4 of us were at the temple today.

To top it off, the sweet sister that I got to see first, saw that I was a "tad" emotional and asked if these were names that I had brought to the temple today.  To that I replied, "No, I'm here with our youth today and wanted to come do this work first before I go back up to meet with my daughter and husband."  I then told her "My oldest daughter is at the MTC in Provo right now waiting to serve her mission in Brazil.  I noticed that all 5 of my names were from Brazil and it just made my heart full."  She then said.....GET THIS!!!   "You're kidding, I'm from Brazil."  In her very sweet Portuguese accent.

CAN YOU BELIEVE the chances of that!!!??? I KNOW that once again, my Heavenly Father is watching over me and our family!  I KNOW that Brazil is needing my daughter and she will be a hugely successful missionary.

I'm SOOOO thankful that I decided last night to go early and not take the bus.  I would have missed out on 5 people from Brazil's temple work that was meant to be done by me today.  I'm so humbled and blessed!!!!! I love my Heavenly Father so much!  And I KNOW He loves me!  He shows me this over and over the past few months and I'm the thankful!!!!
