June 14, 2013~Girls Camp Day

Friday I headed up to Girls Camp to do a workshop on "Stand Ye in Holy Places".  I LOVED seeing the girls!  I've missed seeing the young women from all over our Stake.  We have some amazing girls who I love with all my heart.

Here's a few pictures and the poem I wrote to close out the workshops.

STAND IN HOLY PLACES Stand in Holy Places,
When the world feels upside down,
Your faith will build & strengthen you,
Keep your feet firm on the ground.
 Stand in Holy Places ,
No matter where you are,
Always stand for truth & righteousness,
The Holy Spirit will not be far.  Stand in Holy Places,
When it’s not so cool to do,
Be the one who stands for good,
Others will follow you.
 Stand in Holy Places,
Choose right over the wrong,
When your heart is breaking,
His light will make you strong.
 Stand in Holy Places,
Like a rock that can’t be moved,
His love for you is everlasting,
His mercy will always soothe.
 Stand in Holy Places,
The Lord is on your side,
He is there for you to talk to,
From you, He’ll never hide.
 Stand Ye in Holy Places,
Know you’re not alone,
Others will stand side by side with you,
To return to our Heavenly home.
