May 28, 2013~ Letter's To Mom

Today for some reason was a tough one for me...not sure why..Just kinda felt blah all day and had a really hard time focusing at work.   I was SOOOOO happy and thankful that not only did I get ONE letter from her, but I got TWO. 

I'm seriously humbled.  Heavenly Father truly knows my heart and what I need at any given moment.  I know Jordan's mission is going to be a blessing to her and the people she teaches.  But I'm amazing that in just the past 6 days, Heavenly Father has poured out so many little tender mercies to me and our family!

I KNOW God lives, I KNOW His Son, Jesus Christ lived and died for us.  I KNOW the atonement makes it possible for us to live with him again. I KNOW that we all lived in Heaven as brothers & sister's and that Heavenly Father had a plan for us.  I KNOW that He wants us ALL to return to Him again!  

I KNOW that this is the right place for Jordan at this time in her life.  She's sooooooo happy!!!! And that makes me happy for her.

Now....for the updates....
Just updating a few pictures and notes for my missionary. Jordan entered the MTC (Missionary Training Center), on May 22, 2013. My sister and her family met her at the SLC airport and took her down to Provo, UT.

Jordan is SO happy and excited to serve the Lord. She will be at the MTC for at least 6 weeks. From there, it will depend on how quick her visa comes. (Hoping and praying it will be fast!!) We are so proud of Jordan and her decision to serve our Heavenly Father, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

It is a sacrifice.  The girls they are gone for 18 months. They can write letters to family & friends, and email once a week, but the only phone calls they make to home are on Christmas Day & Mother's Day. Their total focus is on the Lord's work.   AMAZING!! I'm in awe of their bravery, courage and faith!

She can write letters when she can, but only has access to email once a week. They are very busy learning the language and are in classes for most of the day.
