Key West, Miami & The Everglades Trip

Thanksgiving was nice. Greg's Mom came to have Thanksgiving with us this year, so we decided to do a few things while she was here.

Friday morning we left for Key West. Our first stop was at Robbie's Pier where we fed the huge tarpon. It was a favorite stopping place when we went to the Keys 2 years ago. We then went down to the Southern Most Point (90 miles to Cuba) Then we walked around Duval street for a little bit after eating at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. It was yummy.Robbie's Pier-Jaycee & Jordan feeding tarponArVella feeding the tarponTarpon feeding @ Robbie'sArVella, Jordan & Jaycee @ Southern Most Point in Key WestShalee & Greg @ Southernmost PointKey WestMargaritaville in Key West

Friday night we stayed in Miami. The room was nice and we had a door right to the pool. It was beautiful.

Saturday we decided to go to the Everglades and go on a air boat ride to see the Everglades and some gators. It was AWESOME! I wish the air boat ride would have lasted a lot longer, especially when the captain went speeding around and making turns..That was awesome. Our captain was Captain Bill, he was so funny. We saw three gators, one was a friendly little (big) guy. We also saw and Iguana and wild parakeets. Got lots of good pictures. After the air boats, we went to an alligator show. The guy has been on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel doing things to help alligators. He was very entertaining...made ya a little nervous. But it was cool!Catchin' a gatorYou're going to do what?!Look Mom, no face!!He's not dead..just taking a siesta!

On the way home we counted at least 80-100 around alligator alley. Very cool!

Mom leaves on Tuesday so we are trying to get in as much as we can while she is here. Monday possibly a beach day.

Fun, nice, Thanksgiving weekend for the Morrill Fam!
